Jenna first joined CCMC in 2001 as parks and recreation manager at Celebration, Florida. During her tenure there, she developed a comprehensive strategic lifestyle plan for her department. Five years later, she would earn her master’s of public administration degree from the University of Central Florida, while working as a recreation superintendent for the City of St. Cloud. She would go on to serve as parks and leisure services director for the City of Oakland Park, overseeing more than 100 employees and leading the department through a national accreditation process. In that role, she completed a year-long comprehensive master plan for her department.
She returned to CCMC in 2012. Since then she has completed several special projects for the communities in our care. She has also been instrumental in developing several new training programs for our team. Jenna holds her Professional Community Association Manager (PCAM) designation from Community Associations Institute (CAI), Certified Manager of Community Associations (CMCA) accreditation from the Community Association Managers International Certification Board (CAMICB), and her Certified Arizona Association Manager (CAAM) designation from the Arizona Association of Community Managers (AACM).
She recently served as vice president on the CAI Central Arizona Chapter board of directors. Her past leadership service also includes conference committee member, southeast region board member, director’s committee chair and southeast region director elect for the Florida Recreation and Parks Association. She has also been an examiner for the Florida Sterling Council, certified with extensive training on performance excellence.
