January is Officially Judy Dreis Month in Frisco Lakes, Texas

Through 13 years of serving the community, Judy Dreis has given the Villages at Frisco Lakes much to celebrate. The Board of the Frisco, Texas, community returned the favor by proclaiming January as Judy Dreis month, as the veteran community manager prepares for retirement.

“The Villages at Frisco Lakes could not have developed into the preeminent lifestyle community it has become without Judy’s guidance and leadership,” the Board’s proclamation reads. “The residents of Frisco Lakes will be forever grateful for Judy’s ever-present simile, dedication and care.”

CCMC’s longest-tenured team member, Judy joined the company in 1975. She will end her career on Feb. 1 – her 45th anniversary. Judy served in various roles until landing at the Villages at Frisco Lakes upon the community’s inception.

“It’s hard to believe yesterday was my very last Board of Directors meeting after all these years,” Judy said. “My impending retirement at the end of this month suddenly became very real when my wonderful Board president read the proclamation. Frisco Lakes came along at the perfect time in my life and has been such a blessing. The community’s new homeowner board was elected in September 2019, and they have been so helpful, hardworking and supportive.  To think that they honored me with this beautiful proclamation is so amazing.  They really touched my heart.”

Judy’s impact on the community will be felt for years to come.

“Today, Frisco Lakes is in a fantastic spot,” said Central Division president Andy Babbitt. “The Board recently transitioned to resident control, and our daily operations continue to run smoothly. Most importantly, Judy has grown a dedicated team of knowledgeable, service-oriented employees that will continue to take excellent care of this community and its residents. This will be her legacy.”
