Daybreak, Utah. BackCountry, Colorado. Both award-winning communities were recently recognized by the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB). Both award-winning communities are managed by CCMC. Why? CCMC is more than your ordinary association management firm. We are in the business of bringing our clients’ visions to life.
Daybreak received the NAHB’s 2010 Best in American Living Platinum Award for Suburban Smart Growth, as well as 2010 Community of the Year. These annual awards recognize builders, architects, developers and land planners who have achieved superior levels of creativity and innovation. The thoughtful design of Daybreak mixes a variety of housing types and architectural styles, with commercial areas and retail space. These areas are woven together inside a tapestry of recreational amenities, alternative transportation and public services. Eventually, this mix will allow Daybreak to operate as a self-sustaining city. CCMC has been serving Daybreak since inception in 2005, and has watched it, quite literally, emerge from the ground. What an incredible vision!
BackCountry’s SunDial House has earned NAHB’s 2010 Platinum Award for Community Facility and Gold Award for Best Community Clubhouse in the Nation. Designed by Woodley Architectural Group and built by Shea Homes, this breathtaking community center is nestled on the edge of a natural preserve, yet offers spectacular downtown views. An active sundial adorns the entry, paying tribute to the land’s Native American history. Warm modern materials perfectly compliment the natural surroundings. The Sundial House perfectly captures the blend of nature and urban living that is the BackCountry lifestyle. Again, CCMC has been serving BackCountry since inception in 2007. We have been entrusted with Shea’s vision.
Please join CCMC in congratulating the development teams of Daybreak and BackCountry on their impressive awards. CCMC is honored to be charged with sustaining these national treasures.
