Remi Almani Named Lifestyle Director of the Year by Home Builders Association of Greater Austin

Bryson, Headwaters Also Earn Masterplan Community of the Year Honors

The Home Builders Association of Greater Austin revealed its winners for the 2020 Marketing and Advertising Excellence (MAX) Awards, and we’re proud to announce CCMC team members and communities, along with our developer partners, were well represented.

Remi Almani, lifestyle director at Headwaters in Dripping Springs, earned the coveted Lifestyle Director of the Year award, while Travisso in Leander, under the guidance of lifestyle director Candice Roy, was named Best Lifestyle Program for a Community.

Headwaters also took home honors as the Best Masterplan Community of the Year (600 Acres or More) and Best Sales/Welcome Center. Bryson in Leander was named Best Masterplan Community of the Year (Under 600 Acres).

Additionally, Bryson developer Johnson Development earned recognition as Developer of the Year, while the community was recognized for a number of awards, including Best Website, Best Social Media Program/Campaign, Best Special Event, Best Billboard and Best Overall Ad Campaign.

CAI Nevada Recognizes CCMC as Best Large Management Company of the Year

We’re proud to announce CCMC earned recognition as the Large Community Management Company of the Year from the Nevada Chapter of the Community Associations Institute (CAI).

Along with this honor, Shani Fazzi, assistant community manager at Red Rock Country Club, earned the prize for Association Management Specialist (AMS) of the Year.

“I’m incredibly excited to see the hard work of all of our Nevada teams recognized with such a notable award,” said Mountain Division president Tony Ledvina. “Congratulations to Shani, as well, on her much-deserved recognition; she works tirelessly to serve residents at Red Rock and exemplifies the CCMC spirit.”

CCMC Announces Leadership Succession

• Todd Davidson Assumes Role of Chief Executive Officer
• D. J. Cole Retires as Chief Executive Officer; Continues as Chairman

Continuing a tradition of internal leadership promotion, Todd Davidson, current Chief Operating Officer and President, becomes the fourth CEO in CCMC’s 47-year history. Todd succeeds D. J. Cole as Chief Executive Officer on May 1, 2020. D. J. was named CEO in 2013 and he remains with the company in the role of Chairman. The company’s planned leadership succession was announced to employees and clients on February 13, 2020.

Todd has been a member of the CCMC family for the last 17 years, serving in a variety of leadership roles and markets. Prior to his appointment as COO in 2018, Todd served as Central Division President beginning in 2011. Under his exceptional leadership, the division nearly doubled in size and expanded into new markets. In 2003, Todd joined the team as our first Club Director for Estrella in Goodyear, Arizona. Two years later, he was promoted to Assistant Community Manager. The following year, he was promoted to Community Manager for Vistancia in Peoria, Arizona. In 2008, he was named Vice President.

“I am extremely excited for Todd and CCMC as he takes on this new role,” says D. J. “A familiar face to our clients and team members, Todd lives and breathes the CCMC vision, mission, and purpose. His ability to connect people, purpose, and strategy in order to produce meaningful results will serve him well in his new role. It has been my honor and privilege to serve as CEO of this great company and work alongside such dedicated, passionate team members, association board members and business partners.”

Company founder and Chairman Emeritus, Ed Boudreau added, “Todd exemplifies the tradition of distinguished service over many years, producing consistently outstanding results. We are blessed to have this great combination of leadership traits in our new CEO. We thank D. J. for his leadership and his steadfast commitment to our team members and clients.” Todd stated, “I am honored to be named the next CEO of CCMC, and want to thank Ed and D. D. J. joined CCMC in 2007 as chief financial officer and president. During his tenure the company achieved tremendous growth in the number of communities and households served along with record levels of client satisfaction and retention. CCMC also expanded the number of regional offices from three to nine, launched its HomeWorks charitable giving program and implemented a bonus plan covering all full-time and part-time employees companywide. Before joining CCMC, he served in chief financial officer roles for Cold Stone Creamery and telecommunications provider AG Communication Systems.

CCMC Serves 13 Top Ranking Arizona Communities

Publisher AZ Big Media recently released the results of the 2020 Ranking Arizona Survey, which recognizes the top Arizona businesses in a variety of industries. We’re proud to announce a total of 13 communities we serve placed among the best Master-Planned Communities.

Vistancia in Peoria maintained its place atop the list of Master-Planned Communities (2,300 Homes or More), which it has held for several years. The announcement read, “Set among the a stunning backdrop of mountain ranges with views of the natural Sonoran Desert, Vistancia offers some of the best in new home options and community living.”

Dylan Reed Named Lifestyle Director of the Year at NRFBA Laurel Awards

Shearwater’s Dylan Reed has been named Lifestyle Director of the Year by the Northeast Florida Builders Association. Dylan, who was recently promoted from lifestyle director to assistant community manager, was recognized at the NEFBA’s Laurel Awards last week.

“Dylan has become a true leader in the Shearwater community,” said vice president Jenna Perkins. “As a lifestyle director, he worked tirelessly to build awareness around community news and events and to develop relationships with and among the community. This award is much deserved and a great capstone to his time as a lifestyle director, as he settles into his new role.”

South Florida’s first agri-hood added a few more accomplishments to its record, as Arden took home several honors during the National Association of Home Builder’s Nationals Awards earlier this week in Las Vegas.

Arden, developed by Freehold Communities, earned:

  • Silver Award | Best Masterplanned Community
  • Gold Award | Best Website for a Community
  • Gold Award | Best Realtor/Broker Program

Shearwater in St. Augustine, Florida, also developed by Freehold Communities, earned the Silver Award for Best Realtor/Broker Program.

  • Monika Montoto | Community Manager, Alamo Ranch | Rising Star Award

January is Officially Judy Dreis Month in Frisco Lakes, Texas

Through 13 years of serving the community, Judy Dreis has given the Villages at Frisco Lakes much to celebrate. The Board of the Frisco, Texas, community returned the favor by proclaiming January as Judy Dreis month, as the veteran community manager prepares for retirement.

“The Villages at Frisco Lakes could not have developed into the preeminent lifestyle community it has become without Judy’s guidance and leadership,” the Board’s proclamation reads. “The residents of Frisco Lakes will be forever grateful for Judy’s ever-present simile, dedication and care.”

CCMC’s longest-tenured team member, Judy joined the company in 1975. She will end her career on Feb. 1 – her 45th anniversary. Judy served in various roles until landing at the Villages at Frisco Lakes upon the community’s inception.

“It’s hard to believe yesterday was my very last Board of Directors meeting after all these years,” Judy said. “My impending retirement at the end of this month suddenly became very real when my wonderful Board president read the proclamation. Frisco Lakes came along at the perfect time in my life and has been such a blessing. The community’s new homeowner board was elected in September 2019, and they have been so helpful, hardworking and supportive.  To think that they honored me with this beautiful proclamation is so amazing.  They really touched my heart.”

Judy’s impact on the community will be felt for years to come.

“Today, Frisco Lakes is in a fantastic spot,” said Central Division president Andy Babbitt. “The Board recently transitioned to resident control, and our daily operations continue to run smoothly. Most importantly, Judy has grown a dedicated team of knowledgeable, service-oriented employees that will continue to take excellent care of this community and its residents. This will be her legacy.”
