CCMC currently has a full-time Facilities Manager position at Golden Oak in Orlando, FL!

The Facilities Manager will oversee the building and grounds maintenance for all Association-owned common areas of the community including, but not limited to parks, roadways, sidewalks, gates, and signage. Additionally, this manager will oversee building and grounds maintenance for the elaborately designed “Summerhouse” clubhouse, which is owned by Disney Parks & Resorts, but maintained by CCMC.

Daily responsibilities will include inspecting the facilities/grounds on a daily basis; perform general/minor maintenance and repairs; perform custodial duties such as emptying trash, washing windows, cleaning vents and changing light bulbs; operate a wide variety of light equipment and machinery; and respond to situations that could be hazardous while confining, resolving and preventing injuries. Other duties will be organizing/maintaining inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment; assist/create a yearly maintenance budget while also maintaining it each year; and be available by phone at all time to respond to afterhours emergencies as appropriate. Special projects and other duties as assigned.

The ideal candidate will have a High School Diploma or GED; supplemented by demonstrated ability to fulfill the physical requirements of the work and general knowledge of maintenance work. Additionally, a minimum of 5 years of experience in grounds or facility maintenance and minimum of 5 years in a leadership role. Other qualifications needed will be computer proficiency with Windows, mobile devices and Microsoft office and strong verbal/written skills with attention to detail. The ability to develop positive working relationships with employees, clients and vendors and strong supervisory skills to manage the work of other employees as well as contractors. Must have the ability to climb, reach, bend, stoop, kneel, sit and stand for extended periods of time. Ability to work at heights up to 12 feet, work in temperatures exceeding 100 degrees for extended periods of time and withstand exposure to dust, mold, fiberglass and various chemicals.

Nights and Weekend hours may be required.
