CCMC currently has a full time Director of Operations position available at Providence in Las Vegas, NV!
The Director of Operations reports to the Community Manager in performing a wide range of operational tasks and administrative duties in support of the community’s objectives. An integral part of the management team determined to deliver the absolute best customer experience each day. The Director of Operations works to reflect a high level of awareness for the collective goals and objectives for CCMC and the Providence Master Homeowners Association.
This position will have management responsibility for the common areas and facilities; will respond to emergencies with situational awareness in order to quickly assess needs, allocate resources and reduce loss; oversee, manage and motivate contractors including courtesy patrol and landscaping maintenance contractors; and will be responsible for the management and personal development of the Operations Coordinator and Community Standards Coordinator.
In addition, the Director of Operations conducts a thorough review of all invoices to ensure accuracy prior to payment; does timely reporting for all activities, accomplishments, challenges and failures and provides support in developing operating budgets, reserve studies and proposals. They will also ensure the entirety of the Association is inspected; research and resolve community issues; plan, attend, support and administer hearings; and administer and process all association Design Review aspects.
The qualified candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree and five years of experience in a similar position or related field or equivalent combination; three years of experience in a Customer Service position; possess a valid NV driver’s license, current vehicle liability insurance, good driving record and must have reliable transportation. They will also have a Community Manager Certification – NV CAM license preferred (Provisional License considered w/ Super CAM referral), and possess Math and Accounting experience, including budgeting.
The ideal candidate will have the ability to read and understand contracts, construction plans and schematics; possess project management skills; and have working knowledge of maintenance routines and mechanical operations. They will be able to work effectively with homeowners to resolve violation issues and reach compliance with the Community Standards and Governing documents; be proficient with Microsoft Office, specifically, Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and OneNote. Finally, they will have the ability to communicate effectively both orally, and in writing, with strong conflict resolution skills.
Please consider the following before applying: Must be able to work longer than an eight-hour day or a forty-hour week, and be able to respond to after-hours emergencies as necessary. Physically able and comfortable with: Heights, working from ladders or lifts; work outdoors in both heat and cold for extended times; walking for extended distances; driving a vehicle or cart; and bend, kneel, and lift up to 50 lbs.
